Heyy'all!
I know I haven't written here in a while, but PHEEWWW has it been a few busy weeks for me! Told'ya I wouldn't be writing often, didn't I? ;)
But. Wowiee, I sure am glad to be back home, and whatsmore, be back at school! I miss Euro, and I miss sleeping in, and I miss my familia back there, but it was fun while it lasted, and now... Onwards to grade eleven! x3
Which, as far as it is now (just a week!) I THINK IS TOTALLY GOING TO ROCK!
My first two classes are english and math, and English which I was at first looking forward to, then thought it'd be abit of a drag, is turning out to be entertaining because we have some funny people in our class! And math, is well, math, but who's complaining? (not me!... yet xD)
And then my last two classes are Comm-Tech which is amazing (today I got a 20/20 on our first assignmnent! ;D) and Musical Theatre which is soo much fun and today was great because I got to talk to my crush (l) and we had a good conversation, we haven't seen in each other in like, five days, so... :3
Not to mention I have yearbook and music council / choir to look forward to! So when I first say to people, I LOVE SCHOOl, they may think I'm a geek... until I explain to them how awesome it is for me! ;D
As long as you don't pay any attention to the countless drama going on among my friends... But that's for another timeeeeeee! 8D

You spin my head right round when you go down, down*
Well, I was so cheery today! Everything was going perfect! Until I took a breather, and actually thought about some stuff. With my head spinning, I felt myself falling down into some well-needed, though completely unwanted self-pity. Whoever thought someone could take such a dance song, and turn it into depression?
Yes, so, I've been thinking lately (ie. the last five minutes) and I've come to realize that, I miss everyone else back home, much more than they miss me. I love Romania, and I love my grandparents, and everyone else back here - in fact, I don't think anyone is more amazing that Buna and Bunu and Tammy and Tibi - but I'm starting to get homesick, and hand in hand with homesickness, comes sadness.
Anyways, my realization is probably true. Nobody except for maybe a handful prolly miss me. Everyone else could prolly care less - and this is the reason why.
Because I'm not important. Hardly anybody knows I exist, or even cares. Except, of course, for that handful of people. All the others, could care less.
This is prolly a conversation about pitiful me:
Person # 1: Guess who told me they don't exist yesterday?
Person # 2: Tell!
Person # 1: Clara!
Person # 2: ... Excuse me, who?
So... yeah.

Destiny & Fate
soo, lately I've been wondering the difference between FATE & DESTINY. Is there really a difference? Are they the same thing? So I decided to look them both up (definitions are from dictionary.reference.com)
FATE
–noun
1. something that unavoidably befalls a person; fortune; lot: It is always his fate to be left behind.
2. the universal principle or ultimate agency by which the order of things is presumably prescribed; the decreed cause of events; time: Fate decreed that they would never meet again.
3. that which is inevitably predetermined; destiny: Death is our ineluctable fate.
4. a prophetic declaration of what must be: The oracle pronounced their fate.
5. death, destruction, or ruin.
6. the Fates, Classical Mythology. the three goddesses of destiny, known to the Greeks as the Moerae and to the Romans as the Parcae.
–verb (used with object) 7. to predetermine, as by the decree of fate; destine (used in the passive): a person who was fated to be the savior of the country.
whereas, DESTINY is:
–noun, plural -nies.
1. something that is to happen or has happened to a particular person or thing; lot or fortune.
2. the predetermined, usually inevitable or irresistible, course of events.
3. the power or agency that determines the course of events.
4. (initial capital letter) this power personified or represented as a goddess.
5. the Destinies, the Fates.
I think Destiny is more the path of life someone choses (or ends up on), while Fate is how the course of events lead to their death. Or something along those same lines...
As it is, both of them have almost the exact same definition, and are synonyms for the other... Which leaves me wondering about the state of the world's sanity...

The Queen's Fool
Awhh, this book is amazing The Queen's Fool, by Philippa Gregory, the same author who wrote The Other Boleyn Girl. This is, well, the sequel in sorts, about a fictional charater, Hannah Green, who enters the court of Catholic Queen Mary as her Holy Fool, and the Protestant Princess Elizabeth as her companion, all the while dancing the perilous tango of England's treachorous court. She finds her way between the sisters, narrowly escapes the Inquistion and the captures of religious traitors, and finds love as she emerges into a woman. It's a marvelous book, I was crying by the end of it, and historically accurate, as is Gregory's way. :)
I highly recommend it, it's now one of my favourites. I absolutely adored it, and couldn't put it down! It had me guessing with every turn in the book... I only wish Hannah Green was a real person! :P

sirenny love :)
yay! i finished chapter twelve of the tenth =]
it's about sirens (did I already mention that?)
It was previously entitled Siren's Love, and the plot was way back from grade seven. I lost the notebook though, and soon forgot about it... Until I found it again sometime a few months ago. So I adopted it, gave the plot a major uphaul, and now am half way done. I cant wait to get it done! I want it over with before school starts again, or at least before November begins - cos Im going to be entering the NaNoWriCo (National Novel/November Writing Contest) so ... if I don't finish The10th by then, I'll have to put it on the back burnerrr. Until the 1st of december, anyways.
Argh, I wonder if I will be able to write 50, 000 words in one month. I can always try, right? It'll be a fun challenge. Plus, there's nothing like a due date and a bit of pressure to get you through things! I learned that when I was finishing up The Prince.
It was the last day of first semester, and second semester was starting the next day. I was determined to finish it before 2nd sem. started, and I told myself that I would refuse to write a single word of The Prince during 2nd sem. I wanted to be free of the romantic tragedy... So when I got home at 3, I set myself down and wrote and wrote and wrote... Before I knew it, five hours has past, I had finished the last five chapters that I had needed, I was finished The Prince, and I was starving! lol! :D
Well, that's my little anecdote for the day :)
Maybe next time I'll tell you how I got the ending for This Story... =]

MPD
Hey! :)
So we (me and my sister) were just downstairs eating lunch (at 5:15 pm... whatever.), and all of a sudden, our tiny 3-year old granddaughter of our neighbours walks in and buna asks her if she's hungry. Dora, the lil' kid, says no but sits down at the table anyways and picks up a cucumber. SHe's like, "I don't like these" then starts to eat it (I know, Dora! I know exactyl how you feel! I hate cucumbers! But I can't stop eating them! XD) , she picks up another one and walks away and drops it on the floor by accident. I whisper to Claudia, "Please don't put it back on the plate" and, as if she could understand my English when she only knows Romanian, she does as I say and me and Claudia both groan xD
So then Buna put some home-made fries on her plate, and asks if she wants more. Dora says "No" but nods her head, and then says, "All of it!".
At thsi point, I turn to my sister and whisper, "Does she have a Multiple Personality Disorder?"
And Dora's just staring at us with these huge, liquid brown eyes, and stuffing her face with fries and all in all being a cute little munchkin.... And my sister bursts out laughing xD
So then I'm like, "She's so cute! Even if she does have a Multiple Personality Disorder" XD
Which, btw, she doesn't. :)

Second Post*
Wow, would you look at that! ;o
I'm already on my second post... and it's still Saturday! I must be on a roll xD
Anyways... You may have noticed that my entire blog is purple-themed. I was going to go for a green spotted theme but then I wanted to change it to a light blue-sort of colour... Then I found some pretty purple anime pics, so... Yeah. That's how I got to where I am!
Apart from working on here, today me and my sister - we're on vacation in Europe for the summer, this is her seventh week, and this is my fourth week - went with bunu and buna for a drive through the country side. We passed by the castle we had visited a few weeks ago, and went to a lake. I took some pics, and it was amazing... The lake was lying in a valley, and all around it were huge, forested mountains. It was really beautiful =]
In other news, I still haven't finished chapter twelve for The Tenth, but I'm almost there! Perhaps just a few more pages, then I can move onto chapter thirteen, rofl :)
