Hallowe'en party ^-^

Hey guys! Wow it's been a while since I've actually meant to write a nice long detailed post (at least, it seems that way :P)

So, Izzie, Mom, Doug and I spent most of yesterday cleaning and preparing for our party; though we had already decorated the house a couple days before hand. There's even a mini graveyard outside on the lawn, it's pretty cool. :3 So Emily and Ashley came over and we started getting ready, Emily was a schoolgirl (she borrowed my BR kilt), Ashley changed from Lady Gaga to Marylin Monroe because her hair was more Monroe-ish, ahah, so she borrowed one of my many dresses for that, and Izzie was a green faerie. I was Belle, from Beauty and the Beast. Only the costume is a bit skimpier than the dress Belle wore, lool. :P

It started off kinda slow, but it got funner. Tanner came first, and he was going to just wear an animal hat with his friend Eddie, but then we realized that we had a Dorothy from Wizard of Oz costume that fit him, so he wore that. xD When Eddie and Angel (Angel is a boy, btw :P) came, Eddie was disappointed that Tanner had ditched on his plans. Angel was already dressed as a cowboy/farmer, so he got off the hook, but we convinced Eddie to dress up as... a Transformer I think? I'm not sure, but Ashley had tons of costumes with her. She came prepared!

When Jadon came, he just had an Ironman mask but then we forced him into Ashley's Lady Gaga outfit, but the poor kid was so self conscious about it. xD Actually, a lot of the boys were ahah. So then we decided we needed to go pick up Bethany, so we all crammed into my mom's van and Emily drove us. We also wanted to pick up a movie, so we shocked the ladies working there ahah - the guys got some weird looks, lol. We broke many laws that night. x)

We ended up renting Grudge 2, even though at first they were looking at new releases. They couldn't find any good new movies so I just suggested, "Why don't we look at old movies?" and everyone's like, "Yeah, that's genius!". I'm the queen of great ideas ;D But of course we had to look at old scary movies. ;_;

So we got back home and the adults were listening to music on the stereo in the living room but we took over. ;) Ashley's younger brother Ryan ended up joining us, too. Everything was really loud though, so we couldn't really hear the movie that well - we had subtitles - and I was kinda paying attention but I looked away at key moments. Well, actually I was pretty interested in the story, and the only time I got really scared was when Izzie screamed. -______- If you've ever seen a horror movie before (or even just an action movie with a slightly jumpy scene) you know what I'm talking about. xD

We never did finish the movie, though, lol. We got distracted and then Doug stole the tv/stereo back from us.

We had a bonfire outside, so we went out to have some marshmallows, then eventually make smores, and just kinda stand around and talk with the adults. By this time, we had changed back to our regular clothes ahah :P The adults took out some jello shooters and even though we weren't supposed to be having any alcohol, a couple of us still sneaked some xDD

We wandered back into the house and were kinda just sitting in the sitting room/dining room, snacking on some chips and just talking, when Izzie had the brilliant idea to play hide and go seek in the orchards. Of course, I immediately agreed. Everyone said it sounded like fun, but nobody got up to start - so I stood up and said, "Okay, let's go play!". Because I know that it just takes one person to get up and start moving for the rest to unconsciously follow. :P

So we just wandered over to the orchards, and were trying to decide which orchard to play in. I kinda snuck off and crouched behind a plant to see if my hiding skills were at ninja level yet, when Jadon broke off the group said he had to pee. But he was farther away, so I didn't care. Then Ryan's like, "Yeah me too!" and he came to stand about two plants away from me. And I'm just like, crap... So I jumped up and walked back to the ground, saying "I can't just stand there while you're peeing right beside me, I'm sorry, but I can't!" and I scared everyone. xDD

Then we kinda split off into groups, before even deciding who was it or what the boundaries were, lmfao. It turned from manhunt/hide and go seek into a "Stick with your group and try to find the others to scare them". Didn't really work that well, and we all kinda rendezvoused back at the house about half an hour later, lol. I was with Tanner and Ryan for the most part, and we thought we saw Izzie and whoever she was with walking by the grapevines, and we saw them flash their cellphone light at us, but by the time we got to where they had been, they were gone over the hill. Then we ran into Angel and Beth, but decided to start back towards the house. :P

Oh yeah, and this was all while Tanner's knee was busted from the football game the day before, he had a huge brace on (and is also out for the rest of the football season, which sucks). So he was limping everywhere lol. :P

After we all just went upstairs and I think Ryan went home with his parents but Ashley stayed behind a bit longer. We were just hanging out when we decided that we should drive Jadon home before he got in trouble. But again, Tanner's leg was busted so he couldn't drive (unless he drove really really slowly lol) and Emily was the only one who with her license (Iz and I only have our permits/g1s/whatever). So we all crammed into the car again and drove to Jadon's house. At first he was going to sneak out and come back to our place, but he decided to just stay home, since the boys had to be out of the house by one, anyway.

So we came back here, got everyone's stuff, hung out for a bit and then everyone left. It was a fun night and I was so tired after!

Today I just watched from Fruits Basket (I started watching it on Friday, it's pretty good :3) and drew a little, doodled a lot. I actually doodled for like, two or three hours (with breaks). It was crazy. And Nano starts soon, too! I'm excited. :D

Anyway, hopefully I can blog again soon.
